“Whatever you and your team decide your new brand will stand for, deliver on that promise. That's the only way you'll ever control your brand. And beware: brands always mean something. If you don't define what the brand means, your competitors will.”

Effective branding and the right company logo can go a long way to helping you build brand loyalty between you and your customers. A good company logo can not only deliver your brand message and establish credibility, it can also engage with your potential clients and help motivate them to purchase.
An effective brand strategy gives you a major edge in increasingly competitive markets. Branding is a way of clearly highlighting what makes your offer different to, and more desirable than, anyone else’s. Simply put, your brand is your promise to your customer. It tells them what they can expect from your products and services, and it differentiates your offering from your competitors’. Your brand is derived from who you are, who you want to be and who people perceive you to be.
Consistent, strategic branding leads to a strong brand equity, which means the added value brought to your company’s products or services allows you to charge more for your brand than identical unbranded products command. People are generally willing to pay more for a branded product than they are for something which is largely unbranded.
Sometimes a great brand story already exists, however in some cases we have to dig a little deeper to find it
To create your brand, you need to define:
- Your company’s mission
- The benefits of your products and services
- What qualities you want your customers to associate with your company
- What the brand personality should be perceived as
- The brand tone of voice
It doesn’t end there though, once the brand is defined and the identity is created you have to consistently roll it out across all marketing materials.
Even if you are the smallest of start-ups running out of your spare room, your product, customer service and professionalism may be of the highest caliber, and your brand must to reflect that.
