EFMS was an Ipswich based facilities management company with a vast array of available services. Having gone through an internal restructuring process and new senior level appointments made, it was time to re-invigorate the organisation.

A Quick Overview

EFMS had little to no brand awareness in the market place, meaning a complete rebrand would not need to be carried out gradually. Rubber Cheese were contracted to create a new brand name and identity that was more meaningful, dynamic and fitted with the new company values.

This was a huge project to undertake. Naming an organisation can be a difficult and time consuming process. With a number of senior management and stakeholders to please, we were confident our strategic approach would be successful.

We carried out both internal brainstorming sessions and external workshops with key members of the EFMS team. A selection of names were presented after a thorough Companies House and Trademark checking process.

The new name had to be short and straight forward, no more than 2 syllables, making it easy to say and remember. It had to encompass what they do and stand for, so we combined words that have a strong association with the company.

Rubber Cheese have worked closely with us over a period of time to understand exactly how we operate and what our brand and digital requirements are as a large, fast-paced commercial employer.

Although we were one of the first organisations of this kind to work with Rubber Cheese they persisted with understanding the setup of our company and worked tirelessly to ensure we launched in the tight timescale set.

Rubber Cheese developed our new company brand, new website from scratch and new staff intranet. Even though the timescales set were very tight; Rubber Cheese took on the challenge and did so with plenty of smiles and a relentless positive attitude.

The Results

Introducing Vertas

EFMS has now been completely rebranded as Vertas, and the new brand has been rolled out across the entire organisation, from stationery, livery, branded workwear and website.

The website is a vital portfolio and sales tool for the organisation. We showcased the sectors the organisation works with making it clear who they deliver for, and introduced a clearer set of icons for the services offered.

The website is a fully responsive, bespoke development build, meaning it has been developed exactly to the client’s needs rather than using an off the shelf CMS. A client login area has been developed to allow the entire Vertas team access to a personalised employee dashboard & encrypted intranet. Here they can access general files, brand assets, events, company news etc. This helps to digitally unite an extremely large workforce.

As it approached the launch date, the team; especially their super talented developer, worked intensively to ensure a fully operational website and staff intranet was launched on the date we set originally.
