Rubber Cheese announces exciting merger with Carbon Six Digital

Rubber Cheese announces today its merger with specialist Umbraco and Hubspot development agency Carbon Six Digital, adding significant resources and further establishing its position as a leading design and development agency.

The merger gives the award-winning agency an even stronger foundation to achieve its growth plans and strengthen its offering across design and development – delivering world leading digital solutions, with impeccable design at its core.

The newly combined team of 15 will add huge value and expertise to both agency’s national and international clients operating within the visitor attraction, tourism, experience and technology sectors.

Rubber Cheese MD Kelly Molson said,

“This is a bold and exciting move for the future of the business. Carbon Six Digital brings another level of digital knowledge to an already brilliant team. Our values, ambitions and skill sets are perfectly aligned, making this the natural next step.

“We’ve collaborated in the past, meaning we already have a mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work. Having a combined team of specialist WordPress , Umbraco and Hubspot developers gives our clients a fantastic advantage. We’re able to handle ever more complex projects alongside our leading creative expertise. It’s an exciting and superior proposition” added Kelly, who will move into the position of Founder, Head of Commercial of the expanded agency.

After 19 years as co-founder and Creative Director at Rubber Cheese, Paul Wright steps down from his role to pursue another direction.

Carbon Six Digital founder Paul Marden, who becomes CEO of both brands, added,

“I’m really excited about the opportunities that arise from bringing our two teams together.  Client’s will benefit from a larger team with broader skills, all with a shared set of values and culture which will see a stronger digital partner that is greater than the sum of its parts.

The Rubber Cheese team bring a wealth of experience in the digital space for visitor attractions, as well as an eye for amazing digital design and a bunch of technical skills such as WordPress, PHP and booking engine integrations which are complementary to Carbon Six’s approach to continuous improvement of Customer Experience and technical skills in Umbraco, Hubspot and Bloomreach.

Carbon Six Digital were advised by Peter Hoole and the team at Cactus.

The Rubber Cheese name stays, as does Carbon Six Digital. The merger sees each agency retain brand and specialisms, operating in two pods with shared resources across the two.

One agency, two brands, one shared vision. Servicing clients including Eureka! the National Children’s Museum, Holkham and The National Marine Aquarium.
