A Quick Overview
EFMS had little to no brand awareness in the market place, meaning a complete rebrand would not need to be carried out gradually. Rubber Cheese were contracted to create a new brand name and identity that was more meaningful, dynamic and fitted with the new company values.
This was a huge project to undertake. Naming an organisation can be a difficult and time consuming process. With a number of senior management and stakeholders to please, we were confident our strategic approach would be successful.
We carried out both internal brainstorming sessions and external workshops with key members of the EFMS team. A selection of names were presented after a thorough Companies House and Trademark checking process.
The new name had to be short and straight forward, no more than 2 syllables, making it easy to say and remember. It had to encompass what they do and stand for, so we combined words that have a strong association with the company.
VERSATILE (or VERT meaning green) + TASK = VERTAS
