Praised for its unrelenting efforts to raise the profile of women in tech across East Anglia, the DevelopHER Awards attracts hundreds of attendees and is sponsored by digital giants including Amazon, Google, Epos Now and HUT42.

After the careful consideration of an expert panel, Kelly’s been selected from hundreds of entries to be in with a chance of winning.

The results will be announced at a ceremony in the heart of Norwich on Wednesday 28th November 2018.

About Kelly Molson

Kelly is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Rubber Cheese, an award-winning digital agency working within the visitor attraction and food & drink sectors.

She worked as a branding, packaging and web designer before co-founding her own business in 2003. Rubber Cheese has gone strength to strength, partnering with several prestigious brands, including Chivas Brothers, Plymouth Gin, and Eureka! The National Children’s Museum.

Founding Mob Happy in 2017, she is helping to increase the percentage of women agency owners by supporting existing founders on their journey and inspiring up and coming leaders. Structured as a not-for-profit, they invest in running enterprise days and confidence building activities in primary and secondary schools.

She also won a Blue Peter Badge when she was 11, a sign of things to come perhaps?

On discovering she was shortlisted, Kelly said:

I’m honoured to be a finalist alongside such an exceptional list of women.

Rubber Cheese is celebrating our 15th birthday this year, winning this would be the perfect end to the year and the start of our exciting 2019 plans.”

About the DevelopHER Awards

The DevelopHER awards aims to raise the profile of women in technology in East Anglia, creating role models to inspire the next generation to become developers, technicians, project managers, testers and digital experts.

The awards were inspired by the team at Norwich based SyncDevelopHER, who regularly attend and speak at events promoting gender equality. In the past, they’ve hosted events with female role models who speak about their experiences in tech and encourage more women to join.

Find out more about the awards by following DevelopHER on Twitter.
