How we helped THIS Institute create a world-leading scientific platform to improve the NHS.

The challenge

Design a website to support, strengthen and demonstrate THIS Institute’s impact, in providing more clarity on what works in improving healthcare.

Stakeholder workshop

Personas, user journeys and content hierarchy were defined in a workshop and used to deliver a high-quality user experience.

Digital brand identity

A digital brand was developed, working with brand assets created by Together. Simplicity was the key for this project. We used design techniques to highlight key facts and create small, digestible chunks of information, a concise navigation and intuitive search.

Project repository

The new WordPress driven platform is responsive and fully editable, which allows for THIS to build a repository of projects so they can store, organise and present their research.

Events

THIS holds up to 50 events and webinars every year, so we created an events section that can be categorised and filtered, allowing users to easily find an event of their choice.

Intuitive search

The integration of the powerful Algolia search tool includes features like typo-tolerance and synonyms, which ensures a better and faster search experience for users.

Flexible templates

Using a library of flexible content blocks gives site admins the ability to create unique pages to present their research in the best possible way.
